ZFC Research is an independent laboratory exploring Bitcoin-anchored roll-ups and quantitative alpha engines for crypto-asset markets. Theory is forged on private clusters, then stress-tested on the hyperscale campuses operated by our sister company, ZFC Systems.

Origins
Founded in Paris in 2025, we began by stress-testing transformer scaling laws and soon pivoted toward hard composable finance problems: trust-minimised Bitcoin roll-ups and real-time, RL-driven execution engines.
- 2025 — Lab chartered; initial cryptography team formed.
- 2026 — First Taproot-anchored roll-up prototype (BSC v0).
- 2027 — Launch of federated RL trading mesh across three co-located sites.
